The Book of The Courtier's Lady

In 1528 Baldesar Castigolione published 'The Book of The Courtier' a fictionalized representation of the Court of Duke Guidobaldo, he essentially presented the 'dos and don'ts' of Renaissance court society. To this day his work is considered to be the most illuminating contemporary source on the period. For this reason he inspired this short, original piece of historical fiction that explores the life of Emilia, a close companion of the Duchess, Elisabetta Gonzaga. Despite appearances the court is filled with intrigue and secrets which will lead to confrontations and dangerous situations that our heroine shall never forget. Feedback would be greatly appreciated as my writing website is down at the moment and thus I can not publish it any other way. I hope you enjoy this, Amyx
